Zoom is all to release a new update, which brings a whole new set of features, and like every time there will be bug fixes and improvements. These updates also include a new annotation tool, increased management capabilities in Zoom Chat, a full emoji set for reactions, a option call history, voicemail and recording recovery option, and much more. In a blog post, Zoom has put detailed explanation of all the features and improvements made in the update. The recognized video calling app has added a Vanishing Pen Annotation option, which is used to highlight text or objects on the screen being shared without having to undo or erase highlight annotations.

Whenever you’ll use the Vanishing Pen to highlight text and objects, the highlight will disappear eventually, allowing you to focus attendees’ attention without needing to continuously undo or erase your written. One will also be able to witness this feature in Zoom Video Webinars as well as in Zoom meetings. The feature is accessible on all platforms like Windows, macOS, and Linux.

The Zoom app users will also be to create straight lines and almost perfect shapes when drawing on a tablet using the Zoom mobile app with the help of Whiteboard Auto-shapes. The Whiteboard Auto Shapes option automatically corrects your annotations into their intended shape. This provides organizations with a exceptionally helpful tool for live whiteboarding during training meetings, and customer/sales webinars, the company said. This option and feature is available for both Android and iOS.

The update is also having more emoji reactions and after the update you’ll be able to choose a skin tone for your emojis. For a large proportion of accounts, Zoom says that the full emoji group must be enabled by the admins and account owners.

The company also said that Zoom Phone users will also be able to trigger and start to receive mass notifications by enabling softwares like InformaCast from Singlewire. Facebook’s feature Portal TV now also supports the Zoom app. Portal TV is a feature which we can use to attend video calls on a larger screen like a TV.
