Zendaya Aces Tenniscore Fashion During ‘Challengers’ Global Press Tour
Zendaya, the 27-year-old actress known for her roles in “Euphoria” and “Dune”, has been making waves with her tennis-inspired fashion choices during the global press tour for her upcoming film “Challengers”. The romantic sports drama, directed by Luca Guadagnino, stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach.
Custom Loewe and Louis Vuitton Looks Steal the Show
Working closely with her longtime stylist Law Roach, Zendaya has embraced the tenniscore aesthetic, incorporating elements of tennis fashion into her red carpet looks. At the film’s Australian premiere on March 26th, she stunned in a custom Loewe gown featuring a glittery green tennis ball design, paired with matching heels and Bulgari jewelry.
For the Paris premiere on April 6th, Zendaya opted for a white strapless Louis Vuitton gown with a structured bodice and flowing chiffon skirt, accessorized with a leather belt and diamonds.
She also turned heads in two vintage Louis Vuitton by Marc Jacobs looks – a green-and-white checkered coat dress with white pumps, and a lime green shirt and pants set with silver platform stilettos.
Playful Lacoste and Calvin Klein Ensembles
Zendaya continued to serve tenniscore chic in Sydney, wearing a custom Lacoste sports bra and brief layered with a netted white skirt and white heels.
She later donned a custom Calvin Klein skirt suit in a tennis ball green hue, featuring a high leg slit and floor-length hem, paired with Louboutins and a diamond serpent necklace.
Roach revealed that they adopted a “method dressing” approach for the press tour, with Zendaya’s looks serving as an extension of her character’s wardrobe in the film. “It was intentional and purposeful,” he told Vogue.

Inspiration from Beyoncé’s Alter Ego
In the May issue of Vogue, Zendaya shared that she takes inspiration from Beyoncé when it comes to embodying a fashionable persona on the red carpet.
“I have to buy that this woman exists, or that this fantasy exists,” she explained, describing her alter ego as a “different being“ that comes into her, similar to Beyoncé’s Sasha Fierce.
With numerous stylish looks already under her belt, fans can expect Zendaya to continue serving up tenniscore fashion as the “Challengers” press tour continues. The film premieres in theaters on April 26th.
