Star Zac Efron is currently filming a meaty new part. On Monday, the 35-year-old actor known for his role in Greatest Beer Run Ever was spotted filming The Iron Claw in Louisiana. Efron stood toweled up to the waist, checking his phone, while rocking a striking new hairstyle.
Iron Claw, a film from A24, features Efron as professional wrestler Kevin Von Erich. Based on real events, the movie chronicles the “rise and fall of the Von Erich family, a dynasty of wrestlers who made a significant impact on the sport from the 1960s to the current day.”
Martha Marcy May Marlene director Sean Durkin also penned the script and starred in the film alongside Lily James, Maura Tierney, Jeremy Allen White, and Harris Dickinson.
In an interview for the year 2020, the “High School Musical” star said he has no desire to get back into “Baywatch” shape.
Efron continued, “What it would be like to not always worry about my physical fitness was a long-held fantasy of mine. What if I give up and tell myself, “F—- it?” So I gave it a shot, and it worked! But instead of enjoying it for all the reasons I had anticipated, I was miserable. I just didn’t feel lively, and my body just wouldn’t feel healthy. Slow and weighed down, I felt stuck.”
