Will Trent: Season Two – Renewed or Cancelled ?
Which do you think: Will ABC cancel or renew Will Trent for a second season? ABC could do well to add this show to its lineup, although the network has historically struggled to fill the Tuesdays at 10 PM time slot. 20th Television, the parent company of ABC, produces Will Trent. Disney also owns ABC. That’s encouraging because it suggests Disney can make money off the show in ways beyond the standard network advertising model. There’s a high probability Will Trent will be renewed for another season.
Will Trent: Season 1
Drama series starring Ramón Rodrguez, Erika Christensen, Iantha Richardson, Jake McLaughlin, and Sonja Sohn, Will Trent airs on ABC and is based on a series of novels written by Karin Slaughter. The plot follows GBI Special Agent Will Trent (Rodrguez) (GBI). His clearance rate is higher than anyone else’s at the GBI, and he can dissect a crime scene like no one else. Will was abandoned at birth and spent his formative years in the dysfunctional foster care system in Atlanta. Despite his hardships, he is committed to sharing his perspective in order to prevent others from suffering the same fate as him. As detectives for the Atlanta Police Department, Angie Polaski (Christensen) and Michael Ormewood (McLaughlin) come from vastly different experiences. Will’s new partner at the GBI is Faith Mitchell (Richardson), whose parents are both police officers. Will and Faith report to GBI Director Amanda Wagner (Sohn).
Will Trent: Season 1 Rating
Will Trent averaged a 0.38 rating among adults 18–49 and 3.61 million viewers in its first season. These figures don’t account for viewers who watch a show later or watch it online, but they’re still indicative of the show’s popularity relative to others on the same channel.
