According to Charleston County Sheriff’s department, the officials got the information about the accident at about 2:30 AM ET on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at the Sol Legare Road. Alexander Jennings was reportedly walking and struck by a vehicle. After hitting him, the vehicle left the scene. It is reported that the pedestrian got hit a second time by another vehicle. It also fled the scene.
