On November 26, just hours after getting married, country singer Jake Flint passed away. Publicist Clif Doyal reportedly told EW that the 37-year-old rising star vocalist passed away while sleeping, albeit the exact cause of death had not yet been disclosed.
In a statement posted on Facebook over the weekend, Jake Flint’s manager Brenda Cline of Route 66 Entertainment said, “With a shattered heart and in deep grief I must announce that Jake Flint has unfortunately passed away. Today, I attempted numerous times to write an article, but you can’t remark on something you can’t understand. The image below shows Jake and I as we eagerly sign our artist management agreement. That was the start of an amazing friendship and partnership. I loved Jake much like a son, therefore he was even more to me than that.
His website claims that Flint became interested in music after learning that his father had ALS. Flint’s father asked his lifelong friends to teach his kid how to play the guitar because he was unable to contact with him personally. Flint started going to local bluegrass festivals, which gave him the idea to start writing his own music.a
I’m Not Okay, Live and Not OK at Cain’s Ballroom, Jake Flint, and Live and Socially Distanced at Mercury Lounge are the four albums that Flint released between 2016 and 2021. He performed live often in Texas and Oklahoma.
