A family friend informed that Aaron Carter, a former child pop star and the younger brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, has passed away. He was 34.

A representative for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said that deputies were called to Carter’s Lancaster, California residence at approximately 11 a.m. local time on Saturday, where they discovered a body.

According to the report, his body was discovered in the bathroom.There was no word from authorities as to what may have caused death.

Carter’s 11-month-old kid, Prince, inherited his father’s talent for writing catchy pop songs like “I Want Candy” and “Crush on You.”

In 1997, he released his first studio album, titled simply “Aaron Carter,” and earlier that year he opened for the Backstreet Boys. “Love” is his fifth and last studio album.

Carter was also recognised for his performances in popular television series including “Lizzie McGuire” (which aired on Disney Channel) and “7th Heaven,” which launched on The WB Television Network. On E! Entertainment Television’s “House of Carters,” a reality show about his family, he also made an appearance.

Following his bisexuality revelation in 2017, the singer was showered with encouragement from fans and the entertainment industry.

After that, he went on to say that he “started to find guys and girls appealing” at the age of 13.

It wasn’t until I was 17 years old, following a few relationships with females, that I had an encounter with a man who I felt an interest to, who I also worked with and grew up with.

Aaron Carter opens out about his struggles with a variety of mental health disorders. In 2019, on an episode of “The Doctors,” the singer said that he had struggled with several mental health conditions, including multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, severe anxiety, and manic depression.

In one footage from the episode shared on Facebook, Carter stated, “This is my reality,” while holding up a small bag full with various medication bottles.

Carter and his then-girlfriend Madison Parker were stopped in Habersham County, Georgia, in 2017 on suspicion of DUI and marijuana possession.

According to reports, the musician subsequently declared in an interview that he doesn’t drink and denies having a drug issue.

He firmly said, “I don’t need support.” Please know that although I am human and do make errors like everyone else, my life and the life of my partner are not worth risking for any reason.
