After 3.5 years together, Shannon Beador and her boyfriend John Janssen have split up.
The 58-year-old actress of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” said on Wednesday that she was “blindsided” when Janssen, 59, abandoned her in late November, a week after production wrapped for Season 17 of the Bravo programme.
‘We were in a terrific position,’ she told the publication. The narrative changed drastically after seven days, when the cameras were turned off. He broke up with me and said he was through with me. What he said to me at the time was awful.
I’ve never loved somebody more,” she said. “I really believed he was the one I’d spend the rest of my life with. To put it simply, I hoped for a positive outcome. John was the first person I ever loved so deeply. But it was obvious that he didn’t share my sentiments.”
At the end of the day, Janssen didn’t think of Beador as his lifelong companion.
When asked by the magazine about his choice to end things, he said, “I’ve been in anguish about it.” “It makes me sad because Shannon is a wonderful person. She is the lady I have loved most in my whole life. She’s irreplaceable; nobody else is quite like her witty, hospitable, lively, and daring spirit. Our bond is unlike any other relationship I’ve ever had. For as long as I live, I know I won’t meet anybody else just like her. But it doesn’t imply we should spend the rest of our lives together.”
He went added, “I didn’t want to harm Shannon, but I believe I did the best thing for us both.” “We are a couple that loves one other deeply, but sometimes it isn’t enough. And although I’m sure Shannon sees it, as I’ve said things to her I didn’t intend, I’m hoping she can see that there’s no horrible person here. The relationship between these two excellent individuals just didn’t work out.”
Beador, who has three kids with ex-husband David Beador (Sophie, 21, and twins Stella and Adeline, 18), says she’s attempting to get over her recent loss.
She expressed how hard the holidays had been. “There were nights when I cried myself to sleep because I couldn’t accept that he wasn’t here. But now that a new year has begun, I feel ready to begin over.”
