Choreographers for “Dancing with the Stars” Sasha Farber and Emma Slater are no longer together after four years of marriage. Media reports claim the couple, now divorced, had marital problems at the start of this year. When the ballroom couple stopped posting photos on social media, many of their followers apparently took notice.
What happened between Emma Slater and Sasha Farber?
Us Weekly was the first to report the breakup on August 24. Neither Emma nor Sasha have addressed the press as of yet. Sources say the couple has not yet filed for divorce, and it is currently unknown what led to their split.
However, a source close to the pair said they broke up recently. They’ve been separated for a long time,” the insider said. Both have stopped wearing their wedding bands and are living separate lives.
The absence of both Emma Slater and Sasha Farber from each other’s social media early this year fueled rumors that the two had broken up.
In addition, Sasha was not along on the recent trip that Emma and her father took to Italy. She also attended the wedding of Brandon Armstrong on her own. In addition, they failed to commemorate their fourth wedding anniversary in March. In a November 2021 interview, Emma discussed her efforts to maintain healthy personal and professional ties with Sasha.
The professional dancer said they did a great job of compartmentalizing their professional and personal lives because they worked on everything together.

How Two Friends Became a Couple
Emma and Sasha met for the first time in 2009 on the set of Burn the Floor on Broadway. After a year, they both joined DWTS. Since 2011, when they started going out together, they haven’t been apart. As pros on DWTS, their lives and relationships have gotten a lot of attention from the media, making them one of the most popular couples on the show.
After dating for a while, Sasha Farber and Emma Slater split up in 2014. Emma then explained that she and Sasha were just not meant to be together and that each of them may find happiness with someone else, though she vowed to remain Sasha’s greatest friend no matter what.
Sasha asked Emma to be his wife in 2016, and the two were married in March 2018 in Los Angeles with several of their Dancing with the Stars cast mates in attendance. Fortunately, the brief separation between the two did not affect their ability to get back together again.
