He entered the world on April 23, 1977, as John Felix Anthony Cena Jr. of West Newbury, Massachusetts. Cena is one of John and Carol Cena’s five sons (along with Stephen, John, Dan, Matt, and Sean). After finishing high school at the exclusive prep boarding school Cushing Academy in Massachusetts, he went on to play football for Springfield College. In 1998, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology from an accredited university. Cena tried to make a living as a bodybuilder while also working as a limo driver.
