Jesse was born on July 9, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His mother, Anne, is a child psychologist, and his father, Stephen, is an educator. Inheritance from the Irish side of the family is strong in him.
While growing up, Watters spent time in both the East Falls and Germantown areas of Philadelphia. The kid has decided to further his education at William Penn Charter School.

Watters has received a great deal of criticism throughout the course of his career for making numerous incorrect, provocative, and racist statements. He made up a story in early 2017 that Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta surrendered his password to a hacker and that his password was “password.” In a later statement, Watters dismissed climate change as “not that big of an issue.” He also supported Trump’s family separation policy.
For “The O’Reilly Factor,” Watters and his cameraman ambushed journalist Amanda Terkel in 2009 when she was on vacation for another controversy. Seven years later, Ryan Grim of the Huffington Post urged Watters to apologise to Terkel via phone. After Watters took Grim’s phone and hurled it to the ground, the two guys got into a shoving match.
More controversy surrounded Watters in 2016 after he aired a piece of “Watters’ World” in which he filmed people being racist toward Asian Americans. The music “Kung Fu Fighting” played in the background as he interrogated Chinese Americans about their familiarity with the Japanese martial art of karate, whether or not he should bow to them when he greets them, and whether or not they are wearing stolen watches.
