The death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, the famous DJ for Ellen DeGeneres, has been confirmed by his wife, Allison Holker Boss. He was 40 years old. It was reported that tWitch had passed away on December 13 in a “hotel/motel” by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to convey that my husband Stephen has left us,” Allison stated in a statement. “When Stephen entered a room, it instantly became brighter. He placed a premium on leading with love and light and cared deeply about his loved ones and the people around him. He was the rock of our household, the ultimate provider, and a role model for his many admirers.”

She went on to remark that “to say he left a legacy would be an understatement,” adding that “his good effect will continue to be felt.” “I have no doubt that we will always remember him with respect. The family would appreciate privacy during this trying time for all of us.”
At the end of her remarks, Allison addressed a last message to her husband.

I will always keep the last dance for you, Stephen; you are loved and missed.

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss cause of death

According to TMZ, tWitch committed suicide before his death. According to anonymous law enforcement sources, on December 13, 2022, Allison Holker, tWitch’s wife, rushed into a Los Angeles Police Department station out of concern that he had left the house without his automobile. At around 11:15 a.m. PT, paramedics were dispatched to a Los Angeles hotel after receiving a report about a medical emergency; upon arrival, they discovered tWitch dead from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the spot.

tWitch Career Journey

After finishing second on “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2008, tWitch launched his professional career. After his breakthrough, tWitch was cast in a number of movies, including the “Step Up” series and “Magic Mike XXL.”

He became well-known as the show’s DJ on “The Ellen Show,” too.

DJ tWitch joined the show in 2014. After working with DeGeneres from the program’s inception, he was promoted to executive producer in 2020 and remained with the show until its cancellation.
