Alex Rodriguez has come out about his new girlfriend Jac Cordeiro. On December 18th, the former MLB player made the relationship Instagram public by posting a picture of himself with the 42-year-old registered nurse and his two kids, Nastaha, 18, and Ella, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
Alex, 47, captioned the festive photo, “From our hearts to yours, Merry Christmas,” and added the hashtags “family,” “joy” and “grateful.”
Since October, when photographers saw them together in New York City, the two have been seen together.
Alex’s last public relationship was with Jennifer Lopez, who he was engaged to for four years. They broke up in April 2021.
“We’ve come to realise that we’re better off as friends, and we hope to stay that way,” they said in a statement at the time. “We will continue to work together on our shared businesses and projects and help each other out.”

A month later, Alex expressed that he was ready to “step into a new beginning in my life.”
In May of that year, he said on Instagram Stories: “Anything that doesn’t serve me is moving out of my life.” “There is a resurgence of vitality. My cerebral, physical, and spiritual capacities are all expanding to new heights. I am holding out hope that this exciting new chapter in my life is just around the corner.”
Jennifer famously reunited with ex-fiance Ben Affleck soon after her breakup with A-Rod. The couple secretly tied the knot in Sin City in July and then hosted a huge wedding reception at the actor’s home in Georgia the following month.
Alex was recently on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?, where he was asked about his emotions over his ex-new girlfriend’s relationship. Though he didn’t have much to say, the athlete stressed that he wanted what’s best for Jennifer and their 14-year-old twins, Emme and Max, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Alex reflected on his time with Jennifer in October, saying, “With Jennifer, look, it was a nice experience, and I wish her and the children—who are clever, gorgeous, and wonderful—the very best.”
